Quick answers for HCP's

Is there clinical validation behind it?

Yes. The brace is based on a proven sports-medicine taping technique and developed with Push’s bracing expertise, aligning with evidence-based best practices for plantar fasciitis.

Can it be worn with shoes?

Absolutely. The ultra-thin, lightweight design fits comfortably in nearly any shoe — or can be worn barefoot at home.

How do patients clean it?

The brace is washable at 30 °C and quick-drying, making it easy to keep fresh for daily use.

Why are clinics adopting the Foot Brace FP?

Foot Brace FP offers an affordable, long term alternative to taping, with its advantages of hassle-free patient self-management.

Is it easy to fit in clinic?

Yes. With two simple measurements (foot length + forefoot circumference), the correct size can be selected quickly.

Is it cost-effective?

In the best practice of immediate intervention with tape and a programme involving stretching, exercise and education, the Foot Brace FP offers the advantage of immediate taping-relief and also covers longer term applicability. Instead of choosing short term taping and adjunctive interventions at a later stage, Foot Brace FP is a cost-effective alternative for both short and long term. The brace can also be used as a complementary treatment.

Can it be combined with other treatments?

In some cases, yes — Here’s how we suggest healthcare professionals use it:

Exercise therapy (stretching/strengthening & education): Patients may wear the Foot Brace FP during everyday activities to help reduce strain on the plantar fascia while walking or standing. Also, it aligns with first-line treatment recommendations, as the brace can be removed prior to stretching or exercising.

Night splints: Use the splint overnight and Foot Brace FP by day to create a 24-hour continuum (night tension → daytime off-load). These modalities are complementary.

Taping: Replace short-lived, time-consuming tape with Foot Brace FP once sized; patients fine-tune numbered straps themselves for consistent outcomes. Foot Brace FP is a “taping brace” that extends the proven taping effect.

Insoles/orthotics: Foot Brace FP does not require insoles. If a custom orthotic is already in use, you can trial it alongside the foot brace; note that insoles restrict footwear and can’t be worn barefoot, while Foot Brace FP works barefoot or in any shoe. It is not recommendable to use an orthotic designed for plantar fasciitis at the same time as the foot brace.
